Coach Shells has been teaching and coaching for 35 years. This will be his 4th season at Seckinger and is a part of Seckinger’s inaugural faculty. He is from Arkansas and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, a Master’s degree from Troy University and an Education Specialist degree from Piedmont College.

Coach Shells was the Head Football Coach at Hall High School, 1999-2003, in Little Rock, Arkansas and has had many coaching stops throughout his career, including time at Archer High School 2014-22, Peachtree Ridge High School 2013-2014, and North Gwinnett High School 2003-2013 in Gwinnett County. J.A. Fair High School 1990-97 Little Rock Arkansas, Las Vegas High 1997-1999, Las Vegas Navada . J.F. Byrnes High School 2013-2014, Duncan SC.

Coach Shells was the Head Track Coach at J.A. Fair High School 1990-97 Little Rock Arkansas, and North Gwinnett High School 2003-2013 at Archer High School 2014-22, in Gwinnett County.

He is married to Alicia Young Shells and they have two adult daughters, Alexandria and Payton.
