Jake Medders

Coach Medders begins his 2nd season as the Quarterback Coach at Seckinger. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Union College and a master’s degree in management & leadership from Campbellsville University in 2023.

He played at Brookwood High School in Snellville before transferring to Community Christian High School in Stockbridge. Before graduating in 2018, he led his team to a 24-0 record and back-to-back GIAA state championships. He was ALL- Region & All- State player of the year 2017 season.  He also led the team to a state title pitching a complete game in the GIAA state series.

His collegiate career began with two seasons at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa, where he was part of NAIA National Championship teams in 2018 and 2019. He then transferred to Union College and started over 20 games in two seasons. He also was recognized as NAIA Mid- South Player of the Week Honors. Coach Medders is teaching in special education. He is engaged to, Cami Timm, who he met while at Union. Cami is a member of the Seckinger volleyball staff.

Together, they are excited to contribute to the Seckinger Standard.
