David Seawright
Coach Seawright graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a BA in History. He graduated high school from Oconee County High School in 2000, where he played defensive tackle on the 1999 AAA State Championship football team. He spent 11 years coaching at Apalachee, where he taught special education. In 2017, Coach Seawright completed his master’s degree in special education: General Curriculum at Columbus State University. His previous coaching experience includes: two years at Oconee County, two years at Jefferson, four years at Oglethorpe County, and four years at Social Circle High School. Coach Seawright is the Offensive Coordinator and will serve as an Offensive Line coach, focusing on centers and guards. This will be his 26th year coaching football. Coach Seawright is pictured with his wife, Shannon Seawright, who teaches at Harmony Elementary School in Walton County. Coach Seawright also serves as the head track and field coach at Seckinger.
