Cameron Crawford
A proud graduate of Buford High School (Class of 2010), Coach Cameron Crawford has spent his life immersed in the world of athletics, first as a player and now as a dedicated coach. After an accomplished high school baseball career, Coach Crawford continued his playing career at the University of North Georgia (UNG), where he played baseball from 2010 to 2015.
Coach Crawford's coaching career began in 2016 at Mountain View High School, where he served as both an assistant softball and baseball coach. During his time there, he was part of a coaching staff that led the Lady Bears to a historic 7A Softball State Championship in 2019. His outstanding contributions to the team earned him the 2019 GADC (Georgia Dugout Club) Assistant Coach of the Year honor.
In 2021, Coach Crawford returned to his alma mater Buford High School, where he continued to coach both softball and baseball from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, he took on the role as the first Head Softball Coach at Seckinger High School. Under his leadership, the Seckinger softball team has seen remarkable success, including a 2023 trip to the Final 4 and a 2024 Elite 8 finish. In recognition of his hard work and leadership, Coach Crawford was named both the 2024 GADC Coach of the Year and Region 7AAAAA Coach of the Year.
In 2025, the Jaguars reached the Sweet 16, continuing their impressive run under his guidance. Coach Crawford's philosophy revolves around hard work, teamwork, and building character both on and off the field. With a proven track record of success and an unwavering commitment to his players, Coach Crawford continues to elevate Seckinger's softball program to new heights.
