Rafel Cruz
Varsity Assistant Coach Rafa Cruz
Coach Cruz is in his first season coaching basketball at any level. He coached middle school football in 2019, igniting his passion to coach and develop young athletes, and more importantly, develop men that can be positive influences in society. Coach Cruz played varsity basketball at Glen Allen High School in Virginia where his teammates and coaches voted him as captain my senior year. He also played club and intramural basketball while a student at UGA.
Coach Cruz recently got engaged to his fiancé, Aydan and they will be married by next October. Coach Cruz is a 2023 graduate from UGA.
