Coach Jawdat “Jaws” Razeq II
Head Women’s Basketball Coach – Seckinger High School
Coach Jawdat “Jaws” Razeq II brings a strong blend of athletic experience, academic excellence, and servant leadership to the Seckinger basketball program. A former four-year basketball player at Reinhardt University, Coach Jaws excelled both on and off the court. During his time as an undergraduate, he was an honor graduate, earning a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math and Science. While completing his degree, he also served as a Resident Assistant, mentoring fellow students and developing leadership and communication skills that continue to shape his coaching style today.
A proud graduate of Mountain View High School, Coach Jaws was an honor graduate and a member of the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team, where he gained valuable leadership training from respected figures such as Mike Rutherford and Tim Elmore.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Coach Jaws returned to Reinhardt University as a Graduate Assistant while earning his Master of Business Administration (MBA). His time as a student-athlete and graduate assistant provided him with deep insight into team dynamics, player development, and the importance of academic and personal growth alongside athletic achievement.
Before stepping into his current role as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Seckinger, Coach Jaws served as the Men’s JV Head Coach, Varsity Assistant, and Interim Women’s Head Coach last season. His dedication, energy, and commitment to excellence quickly earned him respect among players and peers alike.
Coach Jaws is passionate about teaching, coaching, and positively impacting young lives. He approaches each season with a growth mindset — ready to learn, lead, serve, and grow — and is eager to build a culture of integrity, hard work, and teamwork at Seckinger.
