9th Coach Brett Peavy

Coach Peavy began his basketball coaching career in Gwinnett County at St. John Neumann, leading the 7th and 8th grade teams before moving to Snellville Middle School, where he coached both boys’ and girls’ programs. He has served in multiple leadership roles within Brookwood Basketball Association as a head coach, all-star coach, and High School League Director.  Coach Peavy also worked with NGS as the East Region Middle School All-Star Coach for three consecutive years as well as training at the Elite 60 Showcase and Next Gen Academy, helping student-athletes grow their skills and passion for the game.

In addition, Coach Peavy has coached travel baseball and softball for many years and served as a middle school coach for the Brookwood cluster in both sports.

He currently teaches 9th Grade Literature & Composition at Seckinger High School and enjoys spending time with my family in my downtime. 

Coach Peavy has been happily married to his wife Vanessa for 21 years.  They  have four children— Ethan, Dylan, Rylee and Sofia.
