Brooke Bortles

Coach Brooke Bortles is a Sugar Hill, Georgia native who attended North Gwinnett High School (2008–2012) and proudly completed her entire K–12 education within Gwinnett County Public Schools. She continued her academic and athletic career at Clayton State University, where she was a four-year member of the women’s soccer program. Her experiences as a student-athlete helped shape her passion for leadership, teamwork, and building strong relationships both on and off the field.

In addition to coaching, Coach Bortles teaches Special Education, specializing in Mild Intellectual Disabilities, and is currently in her 4th year of coaching, all at Seckinger High School since the school opened. She brings over nine years of coaching experience, including four years as an assistant coach and one year as head coach at Dacula High School, where the program captured a State Championship in 2019. She has also coached summer camps through local clubs and worked with “Tiny Tykes” soccer through TYSA during her college years. Outside of soccer and the classroom, Coach Bortles enjoys arts and crafts and is passionate about supporting students and athletes both on and off the field.
