Coach Bio

Coach Casey Emmanuel is a proud Gwinnett County native and Berkmar High School graduate. She is excited to return to coaching at SKG. She earned a B.A. in Spanish and Teaching from Georgia State University, an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology and Design from the University of West Georgia, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kennesaw State University. She currently serves as a Spanish teacher and World Language Department Chair and is also a member of SKG’s AI Leadership Team.

As a proud mother of three children, all of whom have attended Gwinnett County Public Schools, including one graduate, she understands the importance of strong connections between students, families, and schools.

She has three years of experience coaching swimming at Mountain View High School, where she loved working with her athletes and helping them grow both in and out of the pool. She is excited to bring that experience and passion back to coaching at SKG.

Outside of school and athletics, she enjoys exploring local restaurants and trying new foods, drawing, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is passionate about integrating innovation, leadership, and student growth in both the classroom and athletics. Her goal is to make a positive impact on every student and athlete she works with, while helping create an environment where student involvement, meaningful connections, and personal growth are valued as essential parts of student success and well-being.
