CALLAHAN, Fla. — Sam Melanson went 4-for-5 with two RBIs, two runs and stolen bases as Seckinger defeated West Nassau (Fla.) 11-5 on Monday.

Keller Caldwell had two hits, including a double, two runs and an RBI, and Baret Harless had a double and three RBIs in the win.

The Jaguars also got offensive contributions from Bennett Vick (hit, two runs, stolen base), Tristan Robinson (hit, two runs, RBI, two stolen bases), Isaac Vernon (hit, run) and Zach White (hit).

Andrew Hodges pitched 2 1/3 innings with two strikeouts for Seckinger without allowing a run. Carter Sjostrom, the winning pitcher, struck out two in two scoreless innings, and Caldwell pitched a scoreless inning without allowing a hit.
