BUFORD — Seckinger’s boys and girls track and field teams won their Friday Night Under SKG Lights meet last Friday.

The boys took first with 171 points to finish ahead of runner-up Alcovy’s 132 and third-place Lanier’s 109.5. Berkmar (51) was fourth in the six-team meet.

Seckinger scored 155.5 points in the girls meet for a narrow victory over Alcovy (145). Lanier (71.5) was third and Berkmar (57) was fifth in the six-team competition.

Event winners for the Seckinger girls were Kaitlyn Culberson (high jump, 4 feet, 6 inches and pole vault, 9-6), Ciara Hamlin (triple jump, 36-5) and Alanna Adames (1,600, 5 minutes, 43.91 seconds).

The Jaguars’ boys winners were Zygmond Farmer (pole vault, 8-6), Antonio Neal (long jump, 21-6), K.J. Sims (discus, 125-0), Zion Minton (shot put, 41-6), Brian Gravitt (3,200, 11:24.63) and the 400 relay (52.31).

Lanier got event wins from Isaiah Marshall (boys high jump, 6-2 and 400, 51.49), its boys 3,200 relay (9:13.45), its girls 800 relay (1:48.36), Gavin Wallace (boys 200, 22.26), Madison Patrick (girls 3,200 (12:58.71) and its boys 1,600 relay (3:35.01)

Berkmar’s Taylor Wallace was first in the 300 hurdles (45.94) and the Patriots also won the girls 3,200 relay (11:16.23) and the girls 1,600 relay (4:12.44).
